This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of aisecurity.llc, its research site, security labs, AIPSA program, and related tools. By using our site or services you agree to this AUP. This AUP is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted Uses

Professional and Research Use

Our site and services are designed for legitimate security and research activities:

  • Accessing AI security engineering research, benchmarks, and reports for professional use
  • Using labs and interactive tools for authorized security research and education
  • Participating in AIPSA assessments for your own organization's products or programs you are authorized to assess
  • Scheduling consulting or advisory engagements
  • Citing and quoting our published research with appropriate attribution
  • Building internal knowledge and team capabilities using our site resources

Security Research Context

We support the security research community. Authorized security testing activities using our tools and labs are permitted within their documented scope. Any testing must be against systems you own or have explicit written authorization to test.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Unauthorized Access and System Abuse

  • Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access
  • Probing, scanning, or testing aisecurity.llc infrastructure without authorization
  • Circumventing authentication, rate limits, or access controls
  • Introducing malware, backdoors, or malicious code into our site or services
  • Conducting denial-of-service attacks or automated flooding of our site endpoints

2.2 Harmful Offensive Security Activities

  • Using site tools or research to attack systems you do not own or lack authorization to test
  • Developing offensive capabilities intended for use against unauthorized targets
  • Using AI security research outputs to build or enhance malware, ransomware, or attack tooling for malicious purposes
  • Sharing attack methodologies or exploit code derived from our site resources in ways that facilitate unauthorized access

2.3 AIPSA Misuse

  • Submitting false or fabricated evidence in AIPSA assessments
  • Claiming AIPSA credentials, scores, or badges you have not earned
  • Transferring AIPSA credentials to products or organizations not assessed
  • Misrepresenting AIPSA assessment results in marketing, legal filings, or regulatory submissions

2.4 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Bulk downloading, scraping, or mirroring site content without authorization
  • Republishing, reselling, or redistributing research reports, datasets, or tool outputs commercially without permission
  • Removing or obscuring copyright notices, attribution, or methodology disclosures
  • Using our trademarks, brand identity, or content to imply endorsement we have not granted

2.5 Data and Privacy Violations

  • Harvesting or collecting personal information about users of our site without consent
  • Submitting personal data of third parties to site tools without authorization
  • Using our site or services to facilitate unauthorized surveillance or tracking

2.6 Harmful or Illegal Activity

  • Using our site or services for any unlawful purpose
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, researchers, or aisecurity.llc staff
  • Impersonating aisecurity.llc, its personnel, or affiliated researchers
  • Submitting content that infringes third-party IP rights
  • Violating applicable export control laws, sanctions, or trade restrictions

3. Research Attribution Requirements

When citing or referencing aisecurity.llc research:

  • Credit aisecurity.llc as the source and include the publication date
  • Link to the original report or site page when citing online
  • Do not alter or selectively present data to change its meaning
  • Review our Research Use Boundaries at /terms for approved claim-readiness language

4. Enforcement

Actions We May Take

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning and request to cease violating activity
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of site or service access
  • Revocation of AIPSA credentials or certification
  • Referral to law enforcement where required by law
  • Legal action to recover damages or seek injunctive relief
