Visual walkthrough of Eclipse in progress
Overview
The SecEng Trust Scanner for Eclipse is designed for enterprise Java and embedded development teams that operate under strict data-residency requirements. As an Eclipse plugin, it adds trust-language analysis to the IDE without requiring external connectivity — scans run entirely on-device using the local Trust Scanner engine. Regulated industries and government contractors get the security language review they need within the tools they're mandated to use.
Features
- 01.
On-device scanning
The plugin processes all text locally using the embedded Trust Scanner engine — no content is sent off-machine.
- 02.
Selection and file scanning
Analyze highlighted code comments, policy documents, or configuration files directly from the Eclipse editor.
- 03.
Regulated environment ready
No external network calls means it works in air-gapped and network-restricted enterprise environments.
- 04.
Markdown and JSON export
Export structured results for documentation, compliance evidence, or integration with downstream reporting pipelines.

Local first
This integration runs 100% in-process using a compiled WASM engine. Text is scanned locally — nothing is transmitted to a server, no analytics, no telemetry. Ideal for regulated environments where data residency and air-gap requirements apply.
